Ministry of Health and Family (Maldives) is looking for dynamic, reliable, energetic and highly motivated 2 Paediatric Consultants to hire under the Caritas Italiana Project for a period of 03 years.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Should be an MD (or equivalent) qualified pediatrician
- Must have prior experience (a minimum of 1 year) working in a department with a level 3 nursery/NICU since obtaining MD (or equivalent) qualification. During that period, must have been involved in care sick neonates in a senior registrar or consultant level capacity with hands on experience and competence in
- Neonatal resuscitation
- Mechanical ventilation
- Surfactant replacement therapy
- Care of Preterm neonates
Remuneration & other employment benefits
- Basic Salary-MRF 17,420.00 per month
- Allowance –MRF 14,355.00 per month
- Accommodation Allowance – MRF 5,000.00 per month
- Food Allowance – MFR 1,800.00 per month
- Project Allowance – MRF 5,000 per month

Work Hours
48 per week excluding on call duties as per the duty schedule for service, provided by the place of work on behalf of the Ministry of Health & Family
